A few years ago, I discovered my profound connection with Scotland, which has since become a major source of inspiration for my handmade clay creations. Each piece I create carries the energy and determination of my passion for Scottish heritage and nature. However, my creativity stems from many sources. I also find inspiration in the books I read, TV series, fantasy worlds, fairy tales, and I'm also fascinated by architecture.

Hello, my name´s Zuzana and I'm an artist specializing in the unique and historical art form of fore-edge painting - a technique where beautiful images are painted on the edges of books.
In my studio in Slovakia, I carefully hand-paint each book, combining traditional techniques with contemporary designs. My work ranges from classic landscapes and floral motifs to custom designs that tell personal stories.
My passion lies in transforming ordinary books into extraordinary treasures that combine the joy of reading with the magic of art. Each piece I create is not just a book - it's an heirloom that tells two stories: one within its pages and another on its edges.
